Dear BV students and parents,
As you finish the last several weeks of school and summer approaches, we know it can be challenging to stay focused. Remember, a grade of A, B, C, or D receives credit for a course, but an F does not. Continue to work hard as you complete your remaining courses. We know you can do it!
However, despite your hard work, some students may still need to complete summer school for a failed course. It is important that you take summer school for any course you failed that is required for graduation.
THIS YEAR MORE THAN EVER, SUMMER SCHOOL OPTIONS ARE LIMITED. PLEASE SIGN UP ASAP!!!! Attached are many options and flyers for you to view.
Which summer school option is best for me?
Attached to this email is a list of various summer school options. Any of these choices will award you the credit you need if you complete and pass the course. Each option has a different format and may have different course options and rules. Please choose which works best for you and your family. For example, some are all online, some in person, and some a mixture of both. Each option has a different requirement to enroll.
How do I sign up?
Please look at the resource list attached and decide on which summer school program you wish to do.
- If you are choosing SJUSD Summer School (seat-based or APEX)...

- Please complete the linked form below. Counselors will sign you up based on these requests. If you choose Marconi or OFY, you will NOT complete this form as this is only for SJUSD options. BV Summer School

If you are choosing Options for Youth, Marconi, Paseo Grande etc., YOU and/or PARENT must enroll yourself. Counselors are not able to do this for you.
What is the deadline date?
It is best to sign up as early as possible to ensure a spot. Counselors are here until the last day of school for any questions, however, we are gone during summer months, so be sure to communicate any questions or concerns prior to the end of school.
