GRADUATION CEREMONY
Location: Bella Vista High School
Date: Thursday June 4, 2025
Time: 8:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Arrival time: Stadium will open at 7:15am for families to find seats
GRADUATE ARRIVAL TIME, LOCATION, AND PROTOCOLS
Graduates are expected to be present in the large gym NO LATER THAN 7:00am. Any graduates driving themselves need to arrive before 6:45am for parking.
GRADUATE ATTIRE:
Cap & Gown
Unadorned/unmodified cap, gown, and tassel. Cap and Gowns must be worn, zipped up, and free of any additional adornments, except school approved and/or provided medals, cords, and/or sashes. Students who have completed basic training and is an active member of any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces may wear a military dress uniform at the ceremony. Students are permitted to wear tribal regalia or recognized objects of religious or cultural significance as an adornment to the customary ceremonial attire, as long as the adornment does not cause a substantial disruption of, or material interference with, the ceremony. Students who desire to wear such adornments shall seek permission from the principal prior to the day of the graduation ceremony.
Clothing - Dressy Casual
Collared shirts (no T-shirts)
Dress or skirt
Dress pants, slacks, or khakis (no shorts).
Footwear: Flats, sandals, or heels (No flip flops, tennis shoes, running shoes, etc.)
It is recommended that no student wear a heel that is skinny (stiletto) as it may sink into the field and create an unstable foundation for students. It is recommended that students wear wedges or shoes with a full-sole.
EVENT PARKING
There will be parking available in the Bella Vista parking lot next to the stadium and limited overflow parking. Due to the limited number of parking spaces, we encourage graduates and family members to ride together.
GUEST EXPECTATIONS
Photos
Bill Smith will be on site taking photos of graduates receiving their diploma and walking across the stage.
- Guests must wear a graduation wristband to be admitted into the stadium.

No Balloons, Signs, Banners, or any other items that can disrupt the view of other guests. We ask that these remain in your vehicle or be left at the ticket booth at your own risk.

Families are to remain in their seats for the duration of the event and will not be permitted on the track for taking pictures. The field gates to field seating will close promptly at 8am for the processional. Please know that Bill Smith Photography will be present and will take pictures of each student after walking across the stage. Pictures will be available through Bill Smith Photography.
