  • Sunrise Sharks Time Trials: Sunrise Sharks swim team is having their Time Trials swim meet on Saturday May 4th at Rusch Park Pool. Since we are the only team, we need a lot of extra hands and would appreciate all the student volunteers we can get. Time helping will count for community service hours, I can sign your form and/or provide a letter with hours completed. Forms signed and letters given will be dispersed at the end of the day so you'll have everything you need before you leave. You will be helping time swimmers events, helping organize swimmers at the ready bench, assisting at snack bar and hospitality. All jobs will be fully explained and are simple enough to learn quickly. We will provide lemonade and snacks, and recommend you wear comfortable shoes and sun protection. Sign up at the link listed!

  • AVID and Leadership students Big Day of Service on Saturday, May 4.  I have included the link if students would like to officially register.  They can attend a morning rally at Casa High School and get a tee shirt and breakfast burrito.  If they do not want to officially register they can head straight over to Twin Lakes from 10am to 2pm.  Fair Oaks Church has graciously offered to supply us with hot dogs for lunch.

Students can help in one of two areas.  First, we need a group to help us decorate doors to help us launch staff appreciation week. Secondly, we are weeding and tilling the main planters throughout the school. Supplies are need for gardening, which I have included on the sign up genius.
