You will be putting SWAG bags together for the participants in the parade and making bandannas for the dogs. Yes, you will be playing with the pups too. Think about your marke<ng skills. What do you think would look best to get Norcal Golden Retriever Rescue’s name out there?

Norcal Golden Retriever Rescue’s Saturday, December 9th – The GOLD RUSH in The Santa Parade in Downtown Sacramento 9:15 am -12:00 approximately

Meet at the front of the parking garage 10th & L (1303 10th St, Sacramento, CA 95814)

Two lucky students will be chosen to lead the GOLD RUSH in the parade and one to finish the parade with a Stuffed Golden in a wagon. Golden Retriever Costumes supplied. You need to be outgoing and enjoy par<cipa<ng with the crowd. This is a highly publicized event in the Sacramento area. Be prepared for the media.

Sacramento Food Bank:
Once a month the San Juan Unified School District in partnership with the Sacramento Food Bank does a food distribution open to everyone. We need volunteers to help! If you have a group or individuals who can come and help set up (from 10:00am-11:00am) or clean up (from 4:00pm-5:00pm) Or can work the event(from 2:00pm-4:00pm) helping navigate the crowd. Writing on cars. We need you and your friends. If you can't stay the whole time, no worries, we can have you do whatever hours you are available. Underground Clothing Connection in the Sunrise Mall. The store is only open twice a week on Wed. 11 to 4 p.m., and on Saturdays from 11 to 3 pm (ongoing). They provide clothes for students and their families who are in need, and the store is totally staffed by volunteers.
