Band

Bella Vista is known as a High School for strong academics and dedicated students. Our musicians reflect that same high level of achievement.

Here are some of the classes offered: 

Bella Vista Advanced Concert, Marching Band, Pep Band

This Band class offers a wide range of music to encourage and bring out the best from each musician. The fun starts in the summer as the Marching Band warms up as the ONLY Marching Band in the San Juan Unified School District. We are recognized throughout the region for dedication to excellence,good musicianship, fun and challenging team-work. Pep Band is part of the program, as well as marching in the Half-Time show during home football games. Whether playing for Football Games, at other school and community events and Basketball games, the Pep Band always gets the crowd excited! Come join us and develop self-discipline and respect for what we can accomplish together!

Concert Band

The Concert Band class focuses specifically on developing good musical skills with a wide range of music to encourage each musician. Pep Band is also part of this class program and attending all Pep Band events is part of the fun.

Jazz Ensemble

These musicians love Jazz music and make the extra effort to attend Zero Period to play it. Each student can have a chance to shine and develop a strong connection to the range of music available to play in this genre.

Winter Percussion/Drumline

Our Pit and Percussion sections grow and stay sharp with the help of other band musicians who enjoy mixing it up with the fun of this after-school winter program.

Band classes fulfill the high school fine arts class requirements and build friendships during our many shared adventures.
