The CCC is a great space to start exploring options after graduation. You will find info about colleges, branches of the military, scholarships, job opportunities, test prep materials and more. The CCC is open daily during lunch time.
Naviance – Take the Career Interest Profiler Survey
Still trying to figure out what it is that you want to do after you graduate from high school? Log into your Naviance account through your Portal and take the Career Interest Profiler. The Career Interest Profiler is an online career interest assessment for students based on Holland's interest codes. It allows students to complete an inventory which analyzes their own interests and pairs the results with potential career matches.
Consider stepping outside your comfort zone and try something new.
Continue participating in extracurricular activities (clubs, team, job, service …) Try to take on a leadership role in the activities you’ve already been doing.
Challenge yourself academically by taking on a higher-level (honors or AP) class.
Take the October PSAT.
Athletes: Double-check that all of your courses are NCAA-approved.
Attend college fairs and on campus college visits.
Continue exploring your interests during the summer. This could be through a job, internship, volunteer experience, or self-designed project.
Get good grades.
