Mathematics

Our math department is working hard to implement Common Core and prepare your students for today’s entry-level careers, freshman-level college courses, and workforce training programs. Common Core focuses on developing the critical-thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills students will need to be successful.  We want your students to know that math can be fun and cool!  Math is a language of its own, useful in everyday life, whether you are calculating the distance from Sacramento to San Francisco, making chocolate chip cookies, or saving money for a car.  Math is not just for calculus majors, it is for all of us! We offer all levels of math, from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus and are especially proud of our very successful calculus program.
